Trioxygene — software for an ozone treatment device

For Trioxygene, we developed software for a device that treats objects with ozone inside an enclosed chamber. The scope brought together process control, hardware integration, the user interface and service tools. The software was brought up on the physical device.
The device and project objective
The project started with an existing ozone device prototype. Renau Digital developed software for the complete operating sequence: program selection, loading the chamber, running the cycle, ventilation and releasing the treated objects to the user. The system was designed to operate locally without a continuous internet connection.

We developed software supporting everyday device operation for users, operators and service staff:

- software integration with the device
- touchscreen user interface and service views
- variants with and without payments
- operating program configuration
- diagnostics and software updates
Software tailored to the device
The software combines ozone treatment control with user interaction and service functions. The touchscreen interface guides users through each stage of the service, displays device status and provides clear messages. The solution was tailored to the device’s operation and the needs of its users and operators.
Hardware integration and process control
The software coordinates device operation throughout the cycle. It takes into account information from components, conditions for starting and completing the process, and situations that require operator attention. Hardware integration connects user interaction with the actual state of the machine.
HMI and payment variants
The interface guides users through program selection, chamber loading and the treatment cycle, displaying progress and device messages. We prepared a variant with payment handling and a variant that operates without a transaction step. The user flow is adapted to the chosen service model.
Offline operation and servicing
Core device functions are available without a continuous internet connection. Service tools support diagnostics, event review, program configuration and software updates. They help operators and service staff maintain the device and respond to reported issues.
Outcome
The software was brought up on a physical Trioxygene ozone device. The project covered device control, the user interface, payment variants and service tools, bringing them together in a solution that supports the complete service.
